Lynda: Most of the family information I have
dwells on the Canadian aspect of the Edisons.
I am located near London, Ont. Canada and
thus the 'manuscript' that I speak of came
from this area. Four generation of Edisons
made their home in and around the tiny hamlet
of Vienna, Ont. not far from London, including
the inventors great-great grandfather, his
grandfather and his father. His father was born in
Canada, married in Vienna, and his first four
children were born in this pioneer Ont. village.
I am sorry that I have no mention of Mary
Dowlin in my notes. Could you give me her
connection through which John? Perhaps I can
