Look up 'Papers Past' for New Zealand and type in Edmeades in the search box. You will find quite a bit about the Edmeades who settled in New Zealand.

My husband was descended from Sarah Alice Nickless (nee Edmeades) married to Henry William Nickless. They arrived in NZ in 1868. Her brothers were here before that.

I know that Thomas Edmeades and Sarah Pullen are connected to Sarah Alice.

She died in Masterton in 1931 I think, and had married 3 times. 1 Nickless, 2 Thomas, 3 Allen
