My great-uncle was William Robert Edmon, b.9/28/1880 in Texas (probably Cass county). He was married to Vlasta Unknown. This is all I know about her, but family mentioned that name a lot when I was growing up. Vlasta H. Edmon is in the SSDI, b. 10/15/1914; d. 2/19/2002 in Baton Rouge LA. A long time family friend, who knew them both said the info is about right, so it could be her.
They had three children: Pearl, Johnny and Ida Lee. I don't know their ages but this is the order in which they were always mentioned. They were probably born in Texarkana, (Miller county, AR or Bowie county, TX)?
Uncle Bill was a carpenter; his WWI draft card (Sept 1918, Texarkana, TX) names his mother, Martha Edmon; as next of kin; he remarried (Dee Holloway) about 1944. They had a daughter, Mary Jane, b. 9/19/1945. He died 3/27/1956 in Texarkana, TX.
I am trying to locate any of these descendants. All info will be greatly appreciated. cmc
