We have recently discovered that we are of Welsh descent, which makes me think that maybe this is the right thread. My dad is Bruce Charles Edmunds, son of Alphaeus (Alphaus) Charles Edmunds, born in 1904 in either Chicago IL or Belding/Detroit MI.

My gf was abandoned by his father before he was 10 years old, and was raised in Chicago and Michigan. Married Eleanor Connell, 2 children in 1932 and 1935. Daughters name is Jill Ann. We have no idea about the ggf but am interested in learning more. I'm new to all this, the search got passed down to me today!
