HI...I am looking for the family of the late Roland John Edwards (Born in 1889). We believe his mothers name was Mary Ann and his fathers name was John Edwards. His Siblings were named Albert (who was a footballer), Jack (who apparently married someone named Lillian), Alice, Virginia, Elizabeth, possibly also a Polly but not sure on that. I have looked up these pople in all posible combinations but cant find them anywhere! Am totally stuck. Roland John married an Ethel Florence Smith and they had 4 children, Elfreda, Hilda, Gerald, and Raymond Alfred (my dad). Think they were all in the London area. I know that he left home when he was about 14 and went to France, possibly because his father had died. Think all his family are buried in London too. Also, if this rings a bell with anyone from the Cwmystwyth are in wales. My Dad once thought he saw a man the spitting image of his Dad there, and then learnt there was an Edwards farm down the road! Anyone with any info regarding this family would be greatly appreciated. THanks. x
