Otis Gould Eels was born in 1793 in Charlemont, Mass. to John Eells and Lydia Gould.

There's an Otis G. Eels living in Detroit Michigan in 1830.

Also an Otis G. Eels killed in a famous massacre in La Bahia, Goliad, Texas in 1836. Posthumous pay was collected in 1855 by Leander Eels, and his heirs received bounty land in Texas in 1856, 1860, 1864.

Could the Otis in Massachusetts, in Michigan, and in Texas, be one and the same? Anyone researching this line?
