I have a lot of family names I would like to match up with anyone who may be related. People in my family spell it with and without the "d" I traced back to the early to mid 1800's. We own a land in Louisberg. We are of African and Native American Descent. Hope to link up with anyone that may be related to us to compare notes. The Egerton name has been in family for as far back as I have been able to research, weird thing is my great grandmother was already and egerton when she married an egerton. So far there is no relationship between them, but who knows. May have been cousins somewhere down the line.
