Was born in Switzerland and came over with his parents about 1850. His father died on the boat coming over and his mother remarried Charles Eggers and settled in Mo. Andrew was found in St Louis city directory for 1889-1891 and listed as a toy maker. Andrew Jr was a clerk. From this point on is a mystery to the family.
