Hello Mike
I have my great grandfathers family tree from 1880's to present day and can supply these details to you. Please let me know what format AND/or email address to send it to.
George met and married his wife Elizabeth Gray(whose father owned a shop, next to the butchers shop in Belfast).
I do not know why George left Liverpool for work in Belfast, but would be interested to hear more from you.
I know that Georges father died when he was 40 and that George (aged 14/15), his brother and mother Caroline were living in Liverpool, along with her parents. At some point he (George) moved to Belfast in the 1880's, as there were close links between each port/docks. There are several families in England NW, NE and SE all in the same trade/s, having left Europe in the 1860's.
Do you know anything about why he (George)left Liverpool and what happened to his father Charles, who died in Boston (Lincs.) in 1880 ?
Regards V
