Apparently my husband's family, the Ehler's, came over to North America during the American Revolution, as hired soldiers (Hessians). A lot of then settled in Nova Scotia - My father-in-law, Ivan Ehler, was born there. If anyone has any information on the Nova Scotia Ehlers, please e-mail me at wehler1@look.ca
