Hi there! I am researching REPENN from Kiel. My ancestor is Peter Nicolaus Heinrich Repenn who married Catherina Margaretha nee peters or Petersen. Their daughter Charlotte Auguste katarina Repenn was born in Kiel in 1843 and somehow ended up in Hadersleben (now called haderslev in Denmark) and she married August Ferdinand Sholtz in 1873 at the haderslev vor fru parish. ALL danish parish records are online so I have their marriage entry and the entry for their first son called reinhold born in 1874. Charlotte and August emmigrated to NZ in 1876. I am looking for the REPENN family roots in the Kiel area - perhaps you have cone across PeterNicolaus Heinrich Repenn in your research. Apparently he was at one time GRAF von repenn but gave up his title. I also know that he and his wife had at least 2 other children called Conrad Ludwig Dietrich Repenn (b.1853) and Dorothes Margaretha Christina Repenn (b.1844) - who we believe married a Hoffman and emmigrated to NZ.
