Lisa,
I see that you responded to my postback in November, but I do not recall getting it! Do you have the genealogy to Medeleine and William Ottman? I am a Ruppert (NYC beer brewers) and my family married into the HASSLOCHERS in the later 19th Century (see below) and my family is still in touch with Ehret descendants (Burghards, von Zedlitz, Conly and Hoffmann). I would love to have the genealogy for Medeleine's line, the one I am missing.
Also I have another connection to William Ottman, Sr. (husband to Madeleine Ehret). Madeleine was his THIRD wife. His first was to Rosalean Sybilla BETZ (Betz Beer out of Philadelphia), then to Arthemise Bouligny BALDWIN, then to Madeleine. Rosalean Sybilla BETZ is a descendant of the GILLIG family, my great-geat-grandmother (wife of Jacob Ruppert, Sr., the NYC brewer).
Sadly, my family's connections to the Ehret family only know of their own genealogy from their particular line. My goal is to discern the genealogy of all of George Ehret's children.
N.B. One of Anna Hasslocher's brothers, Johann Baptiste Hasslocher, Jr.(7.19.1851-1.21.1920), married my great-great-grand aunt, Elizabeth Ruppert (11.17.1852-11.14.1897, sister to Jacob Ruppert, Sr.). Also another brother was Johann Ludwig HASSLOCHER (11.19.1848-2.1.1884), but took on the name of Louis Edward HOSTLOT when he joined the clergy, eventually becoming the Papal appointee as the Rector of the American College in Rome.
