It is my understanding that Madeline Ehret (dau. of George) married Maj. General William Ottman. Their son, William Ottman, Jr. married Carol Phyllis Schmid, dau. of Charles Philip Schmid and Florence Montague Trautmann. Florence connects to my family...her father was Ralph Trautmann (Trautmann, Bailey & Blampey Lithographers, New York). Wife of Ralph Trautmann was Mary E. Blampey, who was well-known in social organizations in New York. Mary's sister, Maria Blampey married William Munn...my 2nd great granduncle. I know that's a long story! But according to Carol Phyllis Schmid's obituary (2nd married name was Burdick, she died 1991 Los Angeles), her son was Michael Ehret Ottman and she had grandchildren.

My William Munn was just a tinsmith, as far as I know. Quite a fascinating family he married into!
