They originated from Germany.

My husband's family are descendants of Barbara Ehringer & Fidel Schubnell. I am curious about your list of children for George Ehringer & Mary Ann. How do you know that Anna Eve (married to Joseph Fisher) is an Ehringer? And also that Margaret, married to Martin Koerner is an Ehringer? My husband is also a descendant of both of these familes - Fisher & Koerner.

I believe George Ehringer's wife is Mary Ann Popp. The death certificate for their son Nicholas in 1902 in Clark Co. (book H26 pg 15) states that his mother is Anna Popp.

I'm in need of info on Jennie EHRINGER that married Frank BOLING abt 1880 Indiana. Jennie is suppost to be the daughter of Joseph EHRINGER and Teresa POPP.
