Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ann Eich, of Sheldon (O'Brien county, Iowa) will be held Friday, March 7, (1968) at 10:30a.m. in St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sheldon. Rev. Cletus Keleher will officiate. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery. The rosary will be recited Thursday evening with guild rosary at 7:30 and the parish rosary at 8:45 in the Vander Plog Funeral Home in Sheldon.
Pallbearers will be Carlyle Eich, Art Penning, Arnie Langenhorst and Marv Hassebroek.
Mrs. Eich passed away Tuesday March 4, in the Sheldon Community Memorial Nursing Wing after a long illness. She was born December 1, 1891 at Willow Dale, Kansas. Her husband, Frank, passed away in 1951.
She is survived by four daughters; Mrs. Slyvester Jungers of Milford, Iowa, Mrs. Alfred Hale of Mountain Home, Idaho, Mrs. Ervin Norton of Artesia, California, Mrs. Gene Peschon of Hatfield, Minnesota and eight sons; Peter of Grafton, Wisconsin, Ed of Artesia, California, Thomas of Alexandria, Minnescota, Adam of Spirit Lake, Iowa, Alvin of Lake Benton, Minnesota, Earl of Port Washington, Wisconsin, Paul of Le Mars, Iowa, Frank of Enumclaw, Washington and one sister, Mrs. John Giller of Wichita, Kansas and two brothers; William Smith of Kingman, Kansas, Nelson Smith of Wichita, Kansas. Plus 43 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
