In one branch of the Baden or Wuerttenberg Eicheles there were seven brothers: Augustus (moved to S. Louis), Peter (also to St. Louis, William (stayed in the East known to have been visiting Coney Island in Aug 1905) plus four other brothers. I have a portrait of all 7 taken at Hallett Bros studio, 134-136 Bowery street, NYC in about 1858. On another topic, there is a Georg Eichele a baker from Wuerttenberg listed as a passenger on the bark ATLANTIC departed Bremen, Germany and arrived New York 9/18/59. Hope this helps someone.
