I am tracing the line of August EICHSTADT, who was a Pottery Maker in Concordia, Lafayette County, Missouri. He came to the United States in 1873. In 1880 Census for Lafayette County, shows him August and wife Johanna/Anna EICHSTADT.They had daughters named Augusta "EICHSTADT" HEISTERBERG: born- 5th of July 1853, Agnes "EICHSTADT" WERHAHN: born- 10th of January 1857, a daughter named Julia EICHSTADT: born about 1867 and another daughter named Emelia "EICHSTADT" PETERING: born about 1864. All lived and died in Concordia, Lafayette County, Missouri. I wanting find any other EICHSTAEDT/EICHSTADT that were Pottery makers in Germany and in America (USA). That they are Master Potter's/Pottery Makers and had Pottery/Kiln Shops. Note: the one daughter Augsuta Cecile EICHSTADT-HEISTERBERG, wife of Fritz HEISTERBERG, says on her headstone she was born July 5, 1853, born at Colmar, Posen, Germany and died June 8th, 1919. Buried at St. Pauls Lutheran Cemetery in Concordia, Lafayette Co., Missouri. Agnes EICHSTADT-WERHAHN, born January 10, 1857 and died December 29th, 1891, she also buried at St. Pauls Cemetery, her husbands name was Henry WERHAHN. Anyone out there that is related too these EICHSTADT/EICHSTAEDT. And related to August EICHSTADT, I sure would enjoy hearing from anyone that has a Missouri Ancestor or a Ancestor that was a Pottery Maker.
