Does anyone know if these two men might be brothers? JH Eiffert was born in SC in 1814 and died in Muskogee OK in 1915. He moved to TN from SC and married into the Cherokee Nation.
James Eiffert was born in SC in about 1816 or 1817, moved to TN, and then moved to KS where he died in 1911.
I think it is very unusual for two men with this last name to be born within 2-3 years of each other in SC and live to be so old.
Any thoughts?
