Hello kmitchell12503,

I have been looking for information on George Eighnor, particularly if he was ever married and ever had any sons. It looks like I might be able to help you with Minnie Eighnor.

George and Minnie were married in Iroquois Co, IL on Nov. 7, 1894. George was listed as George Eigner and Minnie was listed as Minnie Harry.
As you can see by the date, Minnie was only 14 years of age when she was married, while George was into his early 40's. Somewhere before 1900 George and Minnie had a child and then divorced.
By 1900, Minnie is 19 years old and living with her brother Robert Herring. You can find her in the 1900 Census in Rankin, Vermilion, IL. Birchel is not listed with Minnie. Perhpas Birchel was with another family member but hard to say with whom or where.
In the 1910 census Minnie is listed with Edward Jefferson, as is Birchel Eighnor.
As far as I have been able to find, George doesn't show up in the Census until 1920. Before that I have not been able to find him in an earlier census.
This is great info as now I know that George Eighnor did have at least one son.
Please go to this link so you can read info on the Eighners of Illinois. http://larseighner.com/EIGHNER/il-nar.html
I hope this helped.

Marisol
