My Grandmothers maiden name is Eiland. There is a graveyard called Mt Zion in Dade City Florida that I went to and saw some of these names below....Levi Daniel Eiland..etc.
As to my knowledge James Eiland born in Alabama married my Grandma Rosa....I remember her when I was a small boy. My grandfather was killed when he refused to run illegal alcohol for the mob anymore after he became a christian at a Billy Sunday Revival meeting. My grand mother Corrine Elizabeth Eiland Wingate saw her father get shot on his own front porch. I am extremely curious of the Eiland family in Phenix City Alabama. I believe we are related and I would love to get to know them especially since I live in Columbus GA.
