Don't know if this is the same group, and I sorta wonder about it. My grandfather H.P. Eilert was " kidnapped" off the docks in London and pressed into service and sailed to Canada on what he called the "hell ship". He jumped ship and later managed to get down to the US where he entered the carpentry trade. As I understand it he had a brother "George" who came over as well. I am pretty certain that grampa was from Esberg tho. We corresponded a little with some of the distant cousins over there some years ago
