I am looking for descendants of the familys Eimer and Amend NY, founders of the chemical company with that name. Both familys came from Darmstadt/Germany in the 1860s. Eimer originated in Gross-Eichen/Hessen.
Latest informations: Carl Bernard Eimer (b.1890) with Dorothy Barber. Children: August Eimer, Carl Eimer, Mary Louise Eimer (married Amend).
August Eimer (b.10.Nov.1853) maried Mary Louise Amend (b.04.Apr.1859):
Children: Carl Bernard(s.o. 1890), Edward, Elsa Eimer (b. 12.Dec. 1880, d.Sep.1976 in Connecticut), August Otto Eimer (b.08.July1884, d.13.April 1925, married to June Prudhomme, children?), Walter Robert Eimer (08.Sept.1887, d.Sept. 1978 in Florida).
Family lived part times in Byram Shore/Conn. The stone tower on shell island is a memorial for August Eimer.
