My g-grandfather, Jacob Moyer Ehst, compiled notes for a family history in the 1920's(but had very little documentation) I quote from some of his notes:
"Daniel Ehst Sr son of Nicholas born about 1735, mar a Miss Keim of Oley Twp."
"Abraham Ehst, son of Dan. Ehst Sr mar Miss Minninger of Pike Township Berks Co Pa and had one son. Abraham lived in Colebrookdale Twp Berks County about one mile above Grims Mill."
"Abraham Ehst son of Abraham born in Colebrookdale. Married 1st wife Mrs Weand and had no issue. Mar second wife Miss Schanely, had issue Ephraim, Abraham, James, Edwin, Miss Rhoads, Mrs Mabry Muthard, + two other daughters. 1 daughter mar. Moser."
I essentially filled in the blanks with census records.
How do you fit in?
