Franz Eisbrenner

I checked your webpage but couldn't place this Franz. Here's what I have. On 11/9/1890 Uncles Peter and Johann Sietter(Sietler?,Niekles) and families replied to their niece, Mathilda Hoppe letter of 9/17/1890 of her marriage. She arrived in the USA at 20 in 1887. To wit: An accident in Schrotz. Franz Eisbrenner had his papers and was on his way to Chemnitz and wanted to leave Schrotz on 10/19/1890 but got in a fight with his neighbor,Buske, and the town Schmidt, Baron-they beat him and he died on 10/20/1890. Both were arrested. Eisbrenner wanted to go to America, he had already been to Berlin, now he is dead. Why the story is important enough to write seems to indicate there is some connection, was Franz a boyfriend of Mathilda's or a family member, a friend or the local land baron. I'm very interested if you can place this Franz Eisbrenner and his connections to Mathilda.

Any information regarding the Jurek surname would be limited to
direct descendants of Edward Jacob Eisbrenner. These descendants
are from the marriage of Edward's daughter Celia Eisbrenner to
Joseph Jurek b.1875-d.1938.

The city? of Schrotz has only come up twice in
my research. Rosalie Eisbrenner and her niece
Martha Elisabeth Eisbrenner. Both are descendants of
Julius Eisbrenner. West Prussia is a geographic region
also associated with other family members in this branch.
Visit Reunion - A Multimedia Family Archive
http://reunion.simplenet.com and a sitesearch will pull
up the specific pages.

The Franz or Frank Eisbrenner's that we have knowledge
of were alive and well when they left Europe. I will
inform everyone on my mailing list of your posting
with the hopes that someone, particularly our German cousins
may have heard of this same Franz that is the focus of your
research.
