DoD Identifies Army Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of an airman who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Senior Airmen Nicholas D. Eischen, 24, of Sanger, Calif., died Dec. 24 in Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan in a non-combat related incident. He was assigned to the 60th Medical Operations Squadron, Travis Air Force Base, Calif.
The circumstances surrounding the death are under investigation.
