I always heard that the Eischens were from Luxenbourg but according to the Eischen book that I have Mathias came from Germany. I don't think we have the same Mathias. I have to find the book I own about Mathias. I think he changed our name to Eishen and I know they settled in Ohio. I would think we are related somehow. I will get back to you when I locate my book.
