Hi John and Lucy,
My name is Christopher Eisele Cook and I was raised in Toledo, Ohio and born to David Eisele Cook in 1966. I noted in your Google heading that there were Eisele's in and around the Akron area and, interestingly, my grandmother, Helen Louise Eisele, was raised in Cuyahoga County very near Cleveland and she too had an extensive family. I am somewhat certain she also had sisters Mayme and Tillie and will check tonight when I get home. But the dates in the early 1900's seem to line up with your husband's grandfather's date of birth. My grandmother married Tracy George Cook and moved their homestead to Toledo in the early twenties at which point my father was born in 1924. I have very extensive background information dating all the way back to 1862 when Isabelle Eisele (my young daughter's name now) was the first generation of Eisele's to be born in the US. If you would like to see this lineage tree please just drop me a reply note with your address and I will make a copy and be happy to send it to you. We have had some rather dilligent chronologers in the family over time and the tree that I have is quite expansive. In my case Isabelle Eisele of 1862 married one of my ancestors on the Cook side who had just arrived in the US from Ireland (County Donegal) in the early 1860's and that staretd the five generation old roster of the American Eisele-Cook tree.
I would be delighted to forward this info to you if you care to see it. Please let me know.
All the best,
Chris Cook

BTW, my brother lives in Bedford, PA--not far from you.
