Surnames: Eisele, Eisle, Long
I have some conflicting info, here is what I do know-
George H. Long and a Cahtarine E. had children (4 boys and 1 girl). At least two of the boys had middle names of Eisle which according to the family Bible was Catharine’s maiden name. The US Census 1880, Ohio, Montgomery Co., Germantown Pg 53 list a George H. Long and Wife Catharine E. (age 24) with a Son Warren E. (oh joy, that’s my Warren). The 1900 Cenus, Ohio, Montgomery Co., Miami Township further confirms that George and Catharine are the correct line because it shows all 5 kids. Anyway, the Census also shows that she was born in Ohio and her parents Baden.
The US Census 1870, Ohio, Montgomery Co., German Township, Pg 19 shows a Jacob Eisle (that is followed by what might be Zan or Jun ?) age 40 born in Baden and wife Elizabeth age 33 born in Baden with a Catharine age 14 born in Ohio. Sure does seem thats my Catharine.
That all I am sure of. Any help is appreciated.
