I am researching the family of Benjamin Eisen who was born 1879 in Galicia in what is now Lviv, Ukraine. The city of Lviv has also been known as Lvov Poland and Lemberg Austria depending on which nation ruled at the time. His parents were Herman (Chaim) Eisen and Dora (Dwore) Entmacher Eisen. Benjamin immigrated to New York City in 1906 or 1907. His native language was Polish and Yiddish. Does this match your research?
