Amelia Eisenbarth

Looking for ancestors/descendants of Amelia Eisenbarth born February 7, 1864 in Worms, Odessa, Russia to Friedrich Christ Eisenbarth and (Margarethe) Ellwanger. Friedrich may have been the son of Michael Eisenbarth born in Germany in 1809. Amelia came to the US abt 1871/1872 with her parents, we assume, and married a Henry Nickolaus in Nebraksa in 1885. He died leaving her with three children and she later married Martin Beehler and they lived in Nebraska and South Dakota. Amelia died in 1917 in Gregory County, South Dakota. They had six children together.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hello,

I meant to reply to your message ages ago, but I was busy. I live in Racine City, Wis. Maye we could get together some weekend and swap info.

With the info from the Ancestry Files at the Racine Heritage Museum and Archives lists an Andrew Eisenbart s/o Casper and Helena born July 1878 married to Linley Middleton.

The Grassroots history of Racine County gives ,
" Andrew married Linley Middleton. They had twelve children: Alvin, Celia (Mrs. Edward Howe), Ruth (Mrs. Paul Curly), Catherine (Mrs. Leonard Vogt), Rosella (Mrs. H. Gardner), Betty (Mrs. Christensen), Andrew, Veronica, Robert and Raymond."

I don't if this was the connection you were looking for, but at the moment it's all I have on Andrew Eisenbart.

Shardae Feest

If so I am wondering about 2 children in his household at the time. Lewis and Catherine age 4. Were these adopted chidren who were born by the names of Lewis & Catherine Ueltschey children of Henry and Anna? Any help clearing up this family would be appreciated. Also how were the families related?

Re: Eisenbart in Wisconsin

Hi Cynthia,

I'm seeking out the Eisenbart part of my tree and just came across this year-old message from you. The Eisenbart connected to my ancestry is the John Eisenbart you spoke of, son of Martin and Lizette Eisenbart of Burlington, Racine Co., WI. Although I knew about 5 of John's siblings, from the 1880 census, it doesn't mention your Arthur, who must have been born after John (b. 1877 WI).

John's connection to me is that he married Sophia Muegler, and I'm descended from his wife's family. But I'm one of those who's interested in all branches and twigs of tree hunting, which is why I'm researching more on John Eisenbart's ancestry. So far I just have Sophie & John's sons Martin and Fred (and their birth and death dates) but am lacking information on the marriages and kids of either "boys." Would love any fill-in. In addition, what can I do to help you out? My tree's pretty extensive at this point, especially re: anything Racine Co.-connected.

Best,

Kathe C.

His name was Heinrich Nicolaus and lived near Stockham, Nebraska in the last 1800's. I looked through
all the siblings names and didn't come up
with a Kasper. Have you written to the
catholic diocese where Kasper lived?
I did and was lucky as the town name was
listed in their info. My Eisenbarths were
from Differten, Wagdassen.

Nancy

My grandfather, Arthur Martin Eisenbart, was born in Burlington, Wisconsin on 4/1/1888. I believe his father was Martin Eisenbart (middle name possibly Arthur), possibly born in Germany and died possibly 1905. Please contact me if you can provide further information.

Eisenbarths family tree

Hi everyone,
I have been reseaching my family tree for several years now and have a large number of names. My great g father was Friedrich Eisenbarth of South Russia married Catherina Frank of Worms and then they moved to USA. His two sons Wilhelm and Jacob when to Canada in 1909. Their children were born mainly in Medicine Hat and surrounding region of Burstall Saskatchewan where the main homesteads are. I am reseaching all decendents of this family and my great g fathers family of immigrants to the USA and Canada. I would like anyone with the Eisenbarth name to contact me as i believe that Friedrich had a sister and brother also come over from Russia. I have a very old picture of the family who i believe is the orginial family from Russia. If anyone can enlighten me of some information I would be very grateful
my email is <lwright@monarch.net>
Thanks Lorraine Wright nee Eisenbarth

I forgot to mention before, my mom has a cousin who's done quite a bit of genealogy research into the Eisenbart family. A couple of years ago, he shared some info with her. She doesn't recall if she has it, or her sister does. When she finds it, I'll share what I find.

She seems to remember reading that the Eisenbart name was at one time spelled with an "I" and had roots in Ireland or the UK.

Hi! I too am searching for Eisenbart ancestery. I found the same info you did. One of Casper's children was Andrew Eisenbart. My great grandfather's name was Andrew Eisenbart and I'm wondering if he is one of Casper's children? I live in Burlington, and so did my great grandparents and grandparents.

My great grandfatehr Eisenbart married Linley Floy Middleton whose parents were Philip Middleton and Lucy Huffman from Ohio.

They had several children inlcuded by Grandmother Cecilia Eisenbart . I'm trying to trace the Eisenbart line, but reach dead ends once I try to research Andrew. If I find anything more, I'll share.

Laurie

I am Peter Eisenbarth's son. I don't have time to do this right now, but we will be in touch...
We're very interested in the Elfast side, Lillian's family. John died in July of 2000, but Lillian has a birthday coming up, and we'd love to surprise her with some family genealogy. This is an exciting coincidence!
