My father inherited from aunt a collection of picture sent to his grandfather. The picture has his uncle in them with other men from WW2 in Germany 1945.

On back states

In Germany
1945
1 - Louie Eisenberg
(Our Mail Orderly)
2- Your truly

a date stamp on back of picture says 19th April 1945
