Seeking parents of William EISENHOWER (b. 1843/4, PA), who married Catharine "Kate" BOYER (b. Apr 1849, Richmond Twp., Berks Co., PA), daughter of Levi BOYER & Elizabeth WANNER. William & Catharine are in the 1870 census of Oley Twp., Berks Co., PA, then William dies and Catharine marries second to James M. HOMAN. William & Catharine had these children:

1. Barbara EISENHOWER, b. 1866/7; m. Mr. SCHOENER
2. Mary EISENHOWER, b. Oct 1868; m. Elwood B. STRAUB
3. William P. EISENHOWER, b. Jun 1871

In looking for William EISENHOWER in the 1860 census to find him living with his parents, there seem to be two possibilities, the first more likely than the second:

William & Catharine (MacHAMER) EISENHOWER in Runscombmanor Twp., Berks Co., PA

or...

Samuel & Mary EISENHOWER in Union Twp., Schuylkill Co., PA.

Does anyone know if either of the above is correct? Or, if not, who his parents actually are?
