Can anyone answer the question of the relationship of the surname Eisenhut-Eisenhood-Eisenhart and all their variations of spelling. Eisenhood/Isonhoot/Isonhood/Eisonhoot and Eisenhart/Eisenhard/Eisenhardt/Ysenhardi and many many more. Eisenhood meanng Iron Helmut and Eisenhart meaning Iron Hard. What does Eisenhut mean???? Iron what??????? It seems to me I read an article stating that Eisenhoot and Eisenhart are the same name originally, was Eisenhut???????
