Electra Flora Eisenlord

I am trying find proof that Electa had a child and gave it to her aunt and uncle, Mary & Henry Oakley to raise. They raised the child as Stanton born 1880 in New Haven, Gratiot County, Mich. THe Oakley's also adopted James Eisenlord (Electa's brother I believe) after their father Peter had kicked all the kids out after their mother had died. THe adoption does not appear to have been filed legally, however since it was between family members this is not uncommon. Any and all help appreciated. Regards - Steve Strachan sjstrachan@comcast.net

Mary Eisenlord, married Ebenezer Trim, early 19th century, New York

I am researching the family of Ezra Trim (1750-1834), a Revolutionary War soldier from Connecticut and New York. His son, Ebenezer Trim, married Mary Eisenlord. I have neither dates of birth for them, nor a marriage date. They were probably born in the 1780s or 1790s, and probably married in the early 19th century. Throughout his adult life, Ezra Trim (and his children) lived in Pawling, Dutchess County, NY; Ballston, Saratoga County, NY; Fabius, Onondaga County, NY; and Volney/Palermo, Oswego County, NY. If anyone has information about Ebenezer Trim and his wife, Mary Eisenlord, please contact me.

Hi!
I am looking for the birthplace and parents of Electa Flora EISENLORD Myers. Flora was born August 4, l859 and died in Carson City MI on June 5, l910. They had eight children - David A., Harry, Fred, Ethel, Tim B.,Melvina Charity, Quin, Robert, all born between 1882 and 1899.
Any information at all would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Page

Eisenlord Family History.

I have an extensive file on Eisenlord family history from Maj John Eisenlord down to present day. Specifically, I have the large body of work done by Phil Lawson from Casper Wyoming. Phil spent many years bringing virtually line down from John Eisenlord to present day. I also have the genealogy done by Mabel Merryfield Jones from Minerva NY and Dorothy Jones Many, from Middletown CT. That genealogy lists connections with Krems, Empie, Strayer, Weyland, Schuldeys, Fox, Zimmerman, Entis, Kass, Weaver, Mustoe families.

Lastly, I have done a lot of research on the ancestors in Germany of Major John Eisenlord. I have put together a short history which I would be happy to email directly to anyone who wants it. I will send it with the understanding that it is not complete and it is not 100% proven. I have been to Stuttgart and Marbach to do original research and have made connection with a probably descendant of John Eisenlord's brother. I feel that what I've put together has a 90% chance of being correct. I'm looking for others who have also done research in Germany so we can compare notes.

Lastly, I am looking for information. In the Mabel Jones genealogy, a reference is as follows: "ref: Letters in German Bible in Mabel Jones home tell about arrival of John Eisenlohr in America, his first years, who he married. Letters translated by Emil Kraeling." If anyone knows anything of this bible, or the letters, or knows of any of these people, please let me know so I can contact them to try to find out who has these documents.

Anyone wishing to work directly on this or who would like an email copy of the history I've put together on the ancestors of Major John, please email me direct at dennis.norton@dennisnorton.com. I have not figure out how to attach that document to this list.
