I'd love to see your verification. According to Doris Wesner's "Alsatian Connections" and german church records Johannes Koeppel (1618-1703) had a son, Hans Pieter (bapt 3 Advent 44) who married (1) Margaretha Schreiner (1648-1703) on 11/19/1667 in Dehlingen and then married (2) Anna Magdalena Reiff (1677-1720) on 11/20/1703. Hans Pieter and Anna Magdalena had a son, Johannes Clemenz (1704-1773) who married Anna Barbara Reb (sp. var Reeb) (1708-1774), whose son Johann Andreas (1732-1819) emigrated to America on the ship "Boston" in 1764. Are these the same people you are discussing??
