Bonnie,
I'm afraid that all I have is that my GGrandmother came here to NY from Alsace lorraine around 1850. She married a german innigrant John Welsh and had 11 kids all in NY city.
She was widowed & moved to NJ in the early 1900's to live with one of her sons. I've lost track of her there so I figure she died there around 1913, give or take a couple of years.I am currently trying to get her death record from NJ.
She was born about 1835 from census records.
I have no clue about parents or siblings.I am trying to piece together her life but it hasen't been easy.
I do not know if this is any help.
Bill
