Looking for information on descendents of Frank and Ottie Eisman of Jackson County, Ohio. Ottie was daughter of Dora and Thomas Stanley. I know they had one daughter Celora (born 1904). Any information on Frank, Ottie or Celora would be much appreciated. Thanks!!

Holocaust Survivors

I'm looking for family who survived the Holocaust named Eisman. They were from around Warsaw either Poland or Russia. They were Jewish and the farthest back I can go is Yaakov or Jacob Eisman. His son was Sam who moved to America and a daughter, Scheindle, who moved to New York. Some Eismans went to Israel and the rest died in the Holocaust.

Leigh ann good to hear from you. Sounds like you have your hands full. I have three girls they are 30,29, and 27. Rachelle the oldest has a boy and a girl, Jenna the middle girl has 2 boys and a baby girl, and Melody is due her first baby in April. John is 22 and is going to college in Indiana. And then we have Trae (our little invetro baby) After my husband helped me raise my kids we decided to have his and my tubes had already been tied. Trae is ll and a handful he is busier than the other four put together ever were. When I get moved I will be sure to give you my address. We are going to stay with Melody while we find a house. We are set up to see some houses on the 1st of December so hopefully it wont take too long to get settled. My cell phone # is 417-770-4132 if you would like to get hold of me. That won't be changing. My husband is a truck driver so we decided to keep the phones the way they are. Looking forward to hearing from you again soon.

Joyce ~ Make sure you give me your new address. Mom is doing good. Hard to believe she turned 76 this year. Dad has been gone 6 years now (which is hard to believe), and we miss him every day as I am sure you can relate.

I have 3 kids and 2 step-sons. Michael (step-son) is now a sophomore at KU; Brian (step-son) is a junior in high school; Amanda is a junior in high school; Corie is in 3rd grade; and Alex (our surprise baby) just turned 4.

Needless to say, we are very, very busy with school, sports and church.

We'll talk soon.

Joyce ~ This is Leigh Ann Eisman (Ivanuska), Nick's daughter. I have made my Eisman Herdman family tree public so you can view it. Any detailed information you can share about your family, would help fill in the blanks.

Hopefully between all of us kids, we can put the pieces together. I find this stuff so fascinating.

Hi Joyce, As far as I know Aunt Mary is still alive and so is Aunt Evelyn, Uncle Don and Aunt Connie. Sounds like you have your hands full. :) I have a daughter Lauren who is fifteen. Tammie lives here now also and works for Home Land Securties. Dad is doing well. Dad talks to Aunt Evelyn on occasion. Good Luck with your move to Iowa. Take care, stay in touch. Lori

hi, what I know is Grandma Eismans mother lived on a Reservation and married a white man. His name was Charles Morgan Grandmas Mothers name was mary but I don't know what her maiden name was. I know grandma was registered because I know she got a check every month and when she died my dad was able to get it but he as you probably know was very stubborn and refused to anything from anyone so as far as I know it ended there. Is Aunt Helen still alive or do you know? Gene is still alive and well but thats the only one I really know about. It was good talking to you. I just remembered you you were a little girl last time I saw you. You also have a sister Tammy. We were at grandmas that Christmas day when you lost your brother. Roy, Judy Phillip, and Jill are my sibblings. I have five chilren 3 girls and 3 boys The girls are married and Rachelle has 2 kids a boy and a girl, Jennifer has 3 kids 2 boys and a girl
Melody is pregnant now. John is in college and I have and 11 year old Trae. Judy has one son Rich. Jill has 4 girls none married and no grandchildren. Roy and Phil are married but never had any kids. Jill is in California, Judy is still in Kansas, Roy is in Texas, Phil is in Las Vegas and I was in Florid but I'm going to move to freezing Iowa to be near my new grandbaby. Hi, I am Harriet Eismans daughter, she too has passed and unfortunately I dont know much about the Great Grandparents only that if i remember correctly the Great Grandfather Hatties Dad) was Cherokee. I am Buds daughter Joyce. They also had a son named Nick Bud married Dorothy Wyatt and had 5 children They are both deceased now along with all grandparents, Eddie, Nick, Don Please reply with who you are. I myself an looking for the Indian heritage and background information on my grandparents, the kids are always needing information for school reports and curiosity sake and seems its a little hard to get ahold of now that my grandparents and parents are gone.

Hi Everyone;

I have a Eisman in my family. E.T. Eisman married
Evelyn Thompson about 1910-1930, probably in Iowa,
Kansas, or Oklahoma. In 1936, they were living in
Tyler, Texas.(according to one source.)
Evelyn is a sister of my grandfather, Bert Milam
Thompson. Evelyn's father was Samuel Paraphrastus
Thompson and mother was Etta Peters, daughter of
Benjamin Peters and Phoebe C. surname unknown. Samuel's
father was Samuel Price Thompson and Lydia
Belinda Arledge.

Do you know Hattie's maiden name. Hattie's mother Mary Morgan was living with them in 1930, but she could have remarried. I have their children as Hansel (1922), Helen (1924), Adolph J. (1926), Nick I. (1929), and Verline E. (ED?) (1928)

looking for long lost relatives i might have. i do not know much, other then i have a great great grandfather john henry iceman,
and a gread grandfather charles iceman-changed to isleman.
john henry lived in cameron west virginia and had a flour mill there. was married to a mary huff. the only child i know about would be charles, whom married jerushia gregory. they lived in ohio.

In my family line is a Michael Eisman married
to Cathrina her last name is unknown as far as I can tell he died in 1857. They had nine children John 1829-1901,Anna,Maria,Hanna,
Jacob,Sara,Susanna,Elizabeth,and Thomas. The only birth date of the children I am sure about is John which by the way it looks his last name was changed to Iceman.
