Hi Kirk,
I bearly remember a very much younger you.

I am your Uncle , but haven't got much info on the family.

My brother James Robert was the youngest and comitted suicide in 88 or 89. The horror of the Vietnam War finally claimed him.

He had a son & ad daughter, Robert Arthur and Tammi Darlene (she goes by Tamatha). Both married. She has two boys, Ryan and Hunter Tracy. Devorced & seriously in danger of getting hitched again.

I don't know Robert's address, but her email is: Tametha D. Tracey [winpuppy@prodigy.net].

Jerry William is the next oldest, 56. He lives isn Cedar Rapids, IA with his wife, Carolyn. He has two children, William and Alicia, both married. William just presented them with a grandson.

His email address is: cjekwall@email.msn.com

Snail mail is: 56 Fleetwood Rd, NW
Cedar Rapids, IA 52405-4028

His wife had started tracing the family tree, don't know how
far she got.

I'm next (59), no kids. Snail mail: 100 Mill Street
Bedford, IN 4742
Jack Eugene. Wife, Darlene Susan

Richard L. lives out in the four corners: rekwall@acrnet.com

He is 68 and his wife is Claira. He had one son, Benjemin.

There are cousins (a Ralph Ekwall who lived in Iowa City 30 years ago) and Bill Ekwall, the son of Dad's brother who moved to FL years back. Both probably gone now.

Mother had a pot full of shirt-tail relations I never got straight including one who lived in the AK-TX pan handle "raising rattlesnakes" or so she claimed on their farm.

Mother always claimed to be "Scots-Irish and Dutch". German is mor like it, and her maiden name (MacAninch) sounds like highland Scots, not like those the Brits relocated to Irish soil. I suspect both claim-names were taken to be more politically correct at the time.

All I know about your grandfather is that he was a traveling salesman who took mother away from a Cinderella-like situation and then dumped her when her son was born handicapped. I'm told he went west and lived out his life in Origon. I suspect you have a few more aunts and uncles sprinkled around if you can find them.

Jack
