I have that Joseph Ela and his wife came from England. They had one son William. He was the one that died in the war of 1812. William who married Lydia Ordway(oddway) had one son,John, and five daughters. Only four daughters are listed. They are Ruth, Sarah,Mehitable and Eliza. John was born 1806 and died 1886. He married Lucinda Meader and he married second Jane Doloph and had eleven children by thid wife. If send me a snail address I will send you the printout I have of the Ela's.
