I am looking for the parents of Hiram Elam (born <1814> in Pennsylvania), married to Ruth Jane Parker (born 11 Mar 1818 in North Carolina). Their daughter is Nancy Ann Elam (born <1850> in Ill. or Alabama), married to Henderson Cathey on 8 Oct 1863 in Appananoose County, Iowa.
