Surnames: Eland, Brownbridge, Knapton, Ealand
I'm still trying to get specifics on a John Eland (d.1847, m.1829 - Ann Knapton)
John is my Gt Gt Gt Grandfather and was born in or around Bubwith sometime around 1800.
One of his sons was John Brownbridge Eland, so we suspect that his father (George) was the George Eland who m. Elizabeth Brownbridge in 1794. If this is the case does anyone know anything about this family or how they tie in with the other Bubwith Elands?
