You are correct, this is my husband's family. His Grandfather was Gustav Steffenhag who married Johanna Kebbel but some of the information you have received is incorrect. I would be very happy to share what I have on the Collinsville, IL, USA Kebbel-Marchert-Elbe families and am most anxious to see what you have also.
