Hello: Just read you post on a Johanna, and the connection with the Kabbel/Kebbel family. I have received a family tree from a gentleman in Berlin outlining my husband's family tree and it includes his great grandfather Karl Kabbel, also spelled Karl Kebbel. Karl had a brother named August Friedrich 7/24/1855 who is shown with 7 children, two of which are Friedrich Otto Kebbel 1889 and Johanna Kebbel 1884. Friedrich left Dowgelaicie, Lith. with his wife Anna and 4 children to go to Collinsville! Johanna left Kybartai, Lith. with her husband Gustav Steffenhag and two children. Could this be the connection to the Kabbel/Kebbel family?
