George was baptised in North Wingfield on 8 October 1781 (parents Wiliam Elce who married a Mary Smith) and was buried there 20 May 1860.<br><br>George was married to Ellen. I do not know other details of her beyond the fact that she was buried in North Wingfield on 28 January 1855. Their memorial headstone is still decipherable.
