Looking for more info on the Goodchild and Eldridge family connection and there spouses/families. I have John Goodchild 28yrs and Amelia .S.Goodchild 36yrs( nee ?) coming out to Australia in 1855 with their children, Elizabeth 13yrs,Jane 8yrs and Richard John 6yrs. The other info I do have is John being born in Eton, Bucks and his mother (Jane Green) was dead by 1855 but his father ( Richard Goodchild) was still alive and living in Chalvey. His parents were married on 14/11/1805, but I have no wedding date or birthdate for him. Amelia's mother (Esther ?) was dead by 1855, but her father ( William ?) was still alive and also living in Chalvey. The children were all born in Chalvey, but I have no exact dates. I also have some info on John's paternal grandparents, they were John Goodchild B: 1742 and Elizabeth Eldridge. Any more info anyone can add would be greatly appreciated and I can definitely tell loads of info from what happened after they got to Australia!
