I am searching for any information on my grandfather Frederich William Elfring. Born: 1893 and died: 12/25/1963. He was on the Cincinnati Police Force and was a detective during the 1920's until he retired from the force in the 1950's. I can't seem to find anything on him at all. I remember he was referred to as "Mr.Fred" by the people on his beat or section of town. His partner was a fellow by the name of John Fritz. I would appreciate any information. He died at his farm in Maineville, Ohio in 1963 and is buried in Maineville Cemetery. He was survived by a sister by the name of Anna Elfring Somhorst at the time of his death according to the obituary. She has since died in June,1976 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Any info will be appreciated.
