I am trying to find any info on Jesse (Jessie) Marcum (Marcrum, Markham) born 1799 and died 1882/3. He married Sarah Eli (Ely) in 1817. She died in 1896. They were from Lee Co., VA and ran a hotel/tavern somewhere there. They moved to Pulaski Co., KY sometime before 1856. They had 11 kids: Harvey Eli, Samuel Patton, Margaret Ellen, George, David Albert, James, Harriet Ann, Ruth, Bishop Asbury, Caleb Litten, Barbara Alice.

I am related thru Bishop Asbury Marcum.

Any info would be greatly appreciated. All the family records were destroyed in a fire in 1938 and we've been trying to piece it all back together since then. Thanks.
