The first time I talked to Lance and he told me he had visited May and Jack Clarke at Te Kawhata, I wrote A few facts down on a used envelope, including your phone number. Somehow I have managed to misplace it and I think I've mad a few mistakes in who belonged to who. May was Mary Olive Elkin Walker and my late Mother-in-law. Her father was Robert Elkin Walker - he died in 1955 in Hamilton. Opotiki features very largely in their history, as does Australia. I'd love to talk to you and correct a few facts, please.
