The information that Julia Ann Scholl, wife of George L. Minor, is a daughter of Dudley Scholl, is incorrect, and easily proven false. Julia Ann is a daughter of William, but Thompson's History of Pike Co., IL, is the faulty source. Thompson had great information, but plenty of mistakes as well. Dudley was born abt 1803, and Julia Ann abt 1811.
