ELLER Funeral Held Friday At Church in Rowan
Jacob Alexander ELLER, age 78, native of Providence township, Rowan county, died Thursday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. H. E. TISER, just south of Lexington. The funeral took place at St. Matthew's Lutheran church, in eastern Rowan, Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, the funeral party leaving the TISER home at 1 o'clock Friday afternoon, and interment was in the family plot in St. Matthew's church cemetery.
The deceased was a son of the late Alexander and Quilly CASPER ELLER. He moved to Lexington ?10 [br note: bad copy] years ago to make his home with his daughter. In 1874, he married Miss Martha LEMLY. Three sons and one daughter survive, J. M. ELLER, of Linwood; Julius ELLER, of Stokesdale; B. E. ELLER of Salisbury, R. 8, and Mrs. TISER. There are 22 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren living; also one brother, J. H. ELLER of Lexington.
